Message they run a cooling system for the water inside the intercooler that passes through a coil inside an ice trunk (kinda like a fuel cell but holds ice). it acts as a "super radiator" and cools off the water in the intercooler to below ambient temperatures. Thus, making them more efficient than air-air intercoolers on hot days. (not for street cars though, the ice usually melts off within 30 minutes)
